Building a Healthier, Stronger Pine Hills
The fair is being developed as a welcoming, family-friendly experience where residents can receive information, explore services, participate in health-focused activities, and connect directly with organizations prepared to help.
Connecting Residents to Care and Opportunity
The Pine Hills Community Council Health, Wellness & Resource Fair is a program of PHCC’s Community Health & Wellness Ad-Hoc Committee. The initiative is being created to improve access to preventive healthcare, health education, mental and behavioral health support, and social service resources for Pine Hills residents.
More than a traditional health fair, the event will bring health and wellness services together with food access, housing support, family resources, educational opportunities, and other services that affect the overall quality of life of residents.

This initiative advances PHCC’s commitment to Participation, Accessibility, Collaboration, and Excellence by building partnerships, reducing barriers to information, and creating a trusted space where residents can connect with resources that support healthier families and a stronger community.

A Whole-Community Approach to Health and Wellness
Final services will depend on participating organizations and sponsors. The planning committee is working to build an event that addresses both immediate health needs and the broader conditions that influence wellness.
Preventive Screenings
Opportunities may include blood pressure checks, HIV testing, prostate health information, basic health assessments, and referrals for additional care.
Mental & Behavioral Health
Residents can connect with organizations providing mental health education, counseling resources, addiction recovery support, and crisis information.
Nutrition & Healthy Living
Health educators and community partners may offer nutrition guidance, physical activity resources, wellness demonstrations, and healthy lifestyle tools.
Community Resources
The fair will seek to include information related to food access, housing, insurance, family support, transportation, and other essential services.
Family Engagement
Family-friendly activities, youth education, wellness giveaways, and interactive experiences will help make the event useful and welcoming for all ages.
Trusted Connections
Residents will be able to meet local providers and organizations, ask questions, learn about eligibility, and understand how to access services after the event.

Join the Community Health & Wellness Ad-Hoc Committee
PHCC is inviting healthcare professionals, nonprofit leaders, businesses, government agencies, educators, faith leaders, residents, and community advocates to help plan and deliver the Health, Wellness & Resource Fair. The committee is expected to meet between August and November 2026.
