Sandra Fatmi-Hall, a dedicated community leader, nonprofit executive, and champion for education and social empowerment, founded the United Foundation of Central Florida, Inc. (UFCF). As the organization’s Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Executive Director, she has been instrumental in its growth and success. UFCF is committed to uplifting underserved communities through education, leadership development, and comprehensive wraparound services.
Under Sandra’s leadership, UFCF has become a powerful force for community transformation, serving thousands of families across Central Florida. The organization’s initiatives include the Future Leaders United (FLU) After-School Enrichment and Mentoring Program, College Tours Program, Senior Computer Program, and workforce development initiatives. These programs have had a positive impact on students and families in Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Polk counties.
Sandra’s unwavering dedication to educational equity and youth empowerment has propelled UFCF to distribute an impressive 15 million pounds of food, which translates to 12.5 million meals. Additionally, UFCF has generously provided $500,000 in educational scholarships and has sent over 500 students to various higher education, military service, and workforce development programs. Sandra’s leadership has also played a pivotal role in UFCF’s remarkable $47 million total economic impact in the region.
Beyond her work with UFCF, Sandra Fatmi-Hall has played a crucial role in revitalizing community organizations, particularly the Pine Hills Community Council (PHCC). She helped expand its membership and enhance its influence on local governance, beautification projects, and advocacy for historically marginalized communities. Collaborating closely with local governments, school boards, and stakeholders, she addressed systemic challenges in education, housing, and economic mobility.
Her vision goes beyond immediate relief efforts, focusing on long-term systemic change through civic engagement, policy advocacy, and intergenerational leadership development. She firmly believes in empowering communities from within, ensuring residents have access to the necessary tools, resources, and opportunities for sustainable success. Sandra Fatmi-Hall continues to be a beacon of leadership, resilience, and transformation, inspiring countless individuals to invest in their communities and break the cycle of poverty through education, mentorship, and strategic community partnerships.
Sandra’s philanthropic contributions have earned her over 80 awards. The most recent recognition was the MLK Humanitarian Award presented at the Eagle Awards Gala by the African American Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida. Sandra was married and cherished her time with her best friend and late husband, Dennis W. Hall.
